Marois receives death threat on political blog

The leader of the Parti Quebecois has filed a complaint with police after receiving a death threat from a political blogger.
Pauline Marois reported the threat to the Sureté du Quebec after the blog ParkAvenueGazette.com published a headline that said “Hang Pauline Marois for humanity’s sake.”
The online article also referred to Francophones as racist and Nazis.
The threat is being taken seriously by Quebec police, and it has many Quebecers seething.
The article was written by a person claiming to be retired Colonel James Angus Brown.
The blogger claims on the website that he was arrested by the SQ and later released. He has since posted an apology for his personal attack on Marois.
At this time police are not revealing the true identity of the blogger, as no charges have been laid.
